Duties:
The purpose of the position is to perform a wide range of tasks as needed in areas of Food Service, Custodian and Maintenance department as well as assist in support of the Administrative staff. Position responsibilities include: Actively participate in ongoing quality improvement activities of Legacy Treatment Services including but not limited to: serving as a member of a quality improvement team, customer input, incident/accident and client grievance review, peer record review and program evaluation/quality improvement projects. Will fill in for areas on a day to day need after training completed in all areas. May operate equipment normally associated with food service, custodial, office and grounds maintenance to include: vacuums, buffers, power washers, lawn mowers, tractors, ovens, convention ovens, toaster, blender, various maintenance tools, computers, etc. Insure all chemicals and cleaning agents are handled, mixed and stored complying with OSHA NFPA and “Right to Know” regulations. Replaces light bulbs and diffusers. Assist in performing fire drills. May open and secure assigned buildings. May perform general maintenance of grounds to include cutting grass, planting of flowers and shrubs and installation of mulch. Removes snow and ice when required. May be required to assist maintenance staff with project work. Make minor repairs of furniture, equipment and physical structure. Insure all equipment is properly maintained and secured. Assist with special events. Additional related duties as assigned by the Vice President and/or the Director of Facilities Management. Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma preferred or two (2) years of institutional custodial experience. Should be familiar with basic hand tools and carpet/floor care.
Hours:
Full Time; Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. plus planned and emergency overtime.
